Bikers roar for Madiba in outstanding tribute to an outstanding man: Special thanks
The Foundation would like to thank the Bikers for Mandela Day and stalwarts Zelda la Grange and Alta Brown for coordinating such a touching tribute, and would like to recognise and acknowledge the heartfelt contribution made by all bikers, Think Bike representatives and marshals, JMPD and Tshwane Traffic Department officials for such a wonderful event.

#BigRoarforMadiba – A fitting send-off to Khulu
Although they would have loved to be with the family in Qunu, where family and friends are bidding their final goodbye to Nelson Mandela, bikers and supporters from all walks of life showed their love and respect for Madiba the only way they know how: by making a huge noise about it.
Engines roared at their loudest this morning at the Nelson Mandela Foundation as Bikers for Madiba, joined by several cyclists, rode to the Union Buildings via the Palace of Justice to show their last sign of respect for the fallen world icon.

Over 10 600 food parcels handed over to learners and their families
Tiger Brands, in partnership with the Department of Basic Education and the Nelson Mandela Foundation, initiated a food parcel distribution programme to support learners and their families throughout the December school holiday period.
