Tiyiselani Primary School, which lies in the far north of South Africa, near the border with Zimbabwe, started the 2020 school year with a brand-new library donated through the Nelson Mandela School Library Project.
At a 14 November 2019 event at the school, representatives from sponsors Old Mutual Insure and Rotary International looked on as delighted children explored the new library and delved into their goodie bags, filled with snacks and stationery.
Also attending the event were Soul Buddyz representative Nelisiwe Hlope, school principal Paul Musa Chavani and representatives from the Limpopo Department of Education, the school governing body, a pastor and other principals from the area. Everyone was grateful to the sponsors for the precious gift of knowledge.
Tiyiselani Primary School is in the village of Gandlalani, in the Malamulele area of Limpopo.
