Birthday party for 20 Hong Kong migrant children and their mothers
The Southern African Association of Hong Kong was founded 20 years ago and provides a social, cultural and business networking meeting place for citizens, their families and friends from Southern African countries, who are residing in Hong Kong.
The main aim of SAAHK is to raise money for charity for the benefit of locally and or internationally recognised Southern African welfare organisations, as well as promoting business opportunities between Hong Kong/China and Southern Africa.
Our Mandela Day project will be in partnership with PathFinders, Hong Kong's first and only non-governmental organisation that assists pregnant migrant women and their children. We are organising a special birthday lunch party for 20 children and their mothers, followed by a pottery making class for the children.
